We only use wood recycled from tree removals within the city, we use as much of the
tree as possible, including pieces as small as 2 inches in diameter. Due to restrictions on moving any firewood
out of the quarantine zone (see the Canadian Food Inspection Agency website), we are limited to only selling wood to customers
within the zone. Any Ash wood we process is from trees that have not been infected by the Emerald Ash borer.
We only have freshly cut, green wood right now so if you want to stock up for next season, give us a call.

Hardwood Firewood

Hardwood firewood is a mix of different hardwoods including Maple, Ash, Elm, Birch,
etc. Pieces are cut to lengths ranging from 12" to 16" and split to under 6" in diameter. The price for the green
wood is $90.00 per face cord delivered.

Low Density Hardwood

Low density hardwood firewood is a mix of different low density hardwoods
including Basswood, Manitoba Maple, Poplar, Willow, etc. Pieces are cut to lengths ranging from 12" to 16" and split
to under 6" in diameter. The price for the green wood is $60.00 per face cord delivered.
This is excellent wood for burning in fireplaces. Although it's softer than
traditional hardwoods, it performs very well in both wood stoves and fireplaces. If you want a nice fire without having
hot coal buring for hours after, try this wood. It lights easily, burns brightly, and doesn't throw sparks like Pine
or Spruce.
